About

A new public service built by the people who use it.

NFS Bristol is the Bristol branch of the National Food Service network. We start and support projects that create opportunities for community dining, that is, free and low cost food, cooked by local volunteers, eaten together.

In the first 7 months of the pandemic we delivered over 50,000 homemade meals across the city.

We are now back to doing what we were set up to do: running a weekly community dining club where we cook and serve low-cost, nutritious and delicious food from our kitchen in Lockleaze Sports Centre. If you live in Lockleaze you can book a seat at our Community Dining Club here:

If you don’t live in BS7, you can get involved by buying a suspended meal for someone else!
