One of our kitchen volunteers boxing up meals for our emergency food provision.

A new public service built by the people who use it.

NFS Bristol is the Bristol branch of the National Food Service network. We start and support projects that create opportunities for community dining, that is, free and low cost food, cooked by local volunteers, eaten together.

During the covid crisis we’ve been preparing and distributing thousands of frozen homemade meals right across the city.

Our latest project is a weekly takeaway service for low-cost, nutritious and delicious food from our kitchen in Lockleaze Sports Centre. If you live in Lockleaze you can book a meal here:

If you don’t live in BS7, you can get involved by buying a suspended meal for someone else!
